There are several airports in this area. Most airline companies offer flights to Milano, Torino and Bergamo. You will find a wide range of direct flights. From the airports you can easily access Cervinia by rental car, taxi, train or bus.
You can easily reach Cervinia by car. Rent a car at one of the airports or travel in your private car. Starting from one of the airports in Milano it is approximately a 2,5 hours’ drive to Cervinia.
Coming from the south, you take the Autostrade A5 and exit at Chatillon - Saint Vincent. From there you drive 28 km up the mountain on the regional road SR46. If you travel in winter time, make sure you have good winter tires and/or chains for the car. Because of the high altitude the roads can sometimes offer a challenge around Cervinia village.
If you want more information about the Italian motorways, check out the site AUTOSTRADE.IT. On this site you can find a lot of useful information about the actual traffic situation, weather, distance and costs.
